The Coca-Cola Christmas truck is coming to downtown Thun
On Friday, November 15th, experience the magical Christmas event on the picturesque Thun town hall square with the Coca-Cola Santa Village and an open-air restaurant.
Meet Santa Claus in his festively decorated living room and capture the magical moment with a unique photo. But that's not all! Look forward to a 360° platform, a selfie tower with a breathtaking view of the festively decorated square and Santa's post office counter, which you can use to send greetings directly to your loved ones. Another exciting experience awaits you with the VR sleigh ride through Santa's winter wonderland - an adventure for young and old! And if you're still looking for the perfect Christmas present, have your portrait or that of your loved one printed on a Coca-Cola can.
At 7 p.m. sharp, Santa Claus will turn the key and our impressive, 13 meter tall Christmas tree will shine in all its splendor - a gift from the Thun community from a local forest in Steffisburg.
The Christmas Event is not only the start of the Christmas lights, but also the starting signal for Advent sales in downtown Thun. Stroll through the decorated shops, discover magical gift ideas and let yourself be enchanted by the festive atmosphere. The most beautiful Christmas tree in Switzerland shines in Thun
This year the majestic fir tree delights with new decorations. It is decorated in a classic, elegant style. This year there is probably the most beautiful Christmas tree in Switzerland in the picturesque city center of Thun. The approximately 13 meter high fir tree was generously sponsored by the Thun community and transported from a surrounding Burgerwald to Thun's town hall square. The decoration of the fir tree was carried out over several days of work and with a lot of passion by Margrit Bieri, owner of Schlossgarten Kreativ Floristik GmbH, with the support of Franziska Stähli. This year's theme is Santa Claus. Accordingly, the tree shines in red and green colors with decorative elements such as Santa Claus, the reindeer and the mistletoe. Every evening the tree will shine in warm light and enchant people, both young and old. All visitors to Thun are cordially invited to marvel at this impressive Christmas tree until January 6th.
